A WAY TO RAISE MONEY FOR NATIONAL TALKING EXPRESS AT NO EXTRA COST TO YOURSELF

If you shop online, there is a good chance you are buying from one of approximately 2,000 retailers registered with this website. They include Amazon, National Express Coaches, eBay, John Lewis, Asda and Homebase.

If you register on the Easyfundraising.org.uk website as a supporter of National Talking Express and go to these sites using www.easyfundraising.org.uk as a gateway, the retailer will give up to 15 per cent of the value of your purchase to NTE. The amount given is usually less than 15 per cent, but will be stated on the website and you will receive an email normally less than a day afterwards confirming the donation and telling you the exact amount.

Before you make purchases you must register. To register, either go directly to the Easyfundraising NTE page, or go to the Easyfundraising website and navigate to the box saying “Support your cause”, and within this box type National Talking Express. Then click on the “Support” button to the right of it.

When you are ready to make a purchase, log in and the website will remember which charity you are supporting. Search for the required retailer in the search bar at the top of the page, and details will come up of what this retailer is offering the charity (usually a percentage of the value of your order). There will be a “Go shopping” button – click on this to be taken directly to the retailer’s website.

If you wish to support more than one charity, you will need to register for the second charity with a different email address.

NB for your purchase to benefit NTE, you must go to the retailer’s website through the Easyfundraising.org.uk website.

You can also raise money for NTE while doing some web searches. To do this, use Easysearch as your Search Engine portal. Easysearch is a comprehensive search engine combining Yahoo and Bing. Providing you use Easysearch a small amount will be raised for NTE each time you click on a paid-for link (sponsored result?) in the Easysearch results. As an example, ten web clicks on a paid-for link a day will raise about £20 a year (0.5p per click).

To use Easysearch click this link ntexpress.easysearch.org this will automatically select NTE as your cause so you can start searching and clicking on sponsored links, remember though to earn money through purchases you must enter the retailers website via Easygiving not via Easysearch.
