What's in the NTE Audio Magazine

NTE was launched in 1979 and was the first audio magazine in the UK to be produced in stereo. It is a magazine that covers general topics relating to Visual Impairment.

Entertainment

Some months we hold a competition/quiz, for prizes which include CDs, Cassettes and Records.

From time to time there are NTE exclusive interviews with celebrities, some of whom have been Mike Harding, Sir Jimmy Saville, David Hamilton, Chas and Dave, Harry Carpenter, etc.

We also feature listener's own music-making and recordings from their holidays, and any other interesting snippets that have come to the editor's attention.

Computer Corner

Helps to keep members up-to-date with the very latest technology in computer software and hardware. NTE also offers reviews of electronic equipment such as musical keyboards and other gadgets of use to the blind community. There are also details of services and apparatus for the visually impaired and forthcoming events.

Talkback

Listeners air their views and discuss topics relevant to the visually impaired, seek tape correspondents and comment on what they have heard on NTE.
